My Favourite Hoodie!

Admittedly it may be one of my only hoodies, but this is my David & Goliath one that I bought as a Christmas gift...to myself. I wear it so much and it really cheers me up. So, so cute. Do you guys have any pieces that just lift your mood every time I wear them? :) x

Haul | Mac CCO Goodies!

When I was in Swindon a couple of weeks ago with some friends (don't ask), we went into the designer outlet mall near the Steam Museum. In there, we found what was essentially a CCO, or Cosmetic Company Outlet. In there, there were loads of discounted brands and old collections. I found three things from MAC and I was so excited! Especially for the Maleficent lipstick, as she is one of my favourite villains and I completely missed out on the Disney Villain MAC collection. There's were all under £10 each, which is very cheap for MAC in the UK!

From the Closet | Out for Drinks (in the Winter)

Another look from this video! This is an outfit that I'd wear for drinks because it's cute and all it really takes is a coat to keep warm. Nothing is worse than going into a pub and having to strip off three jumpers, scarves and a jacket! Keep it simple with a cute outfit and a big more coat and a scarf!

What I Got for Valentine's Day!

Has it really been a whole week since my last post? Weeks are going by so quickly; this is crazy. My boyfriend very nicely got me a couple of goodies for Valentine's Day and thought I'd show you them cause they seemed relevant to this blog! :)
He got me a Kiehl's sample set! I've never tried any of these products, so I'm really excited. Especially for the lip balm, which I've been meaning to try for ages. Also, look at the Cath Kidston backpack! It's so lovely and reminds me of Minnie Mouse, so I'm very excited about it. Definitely taking it to Disneyland Paris later this month.
Let us also examine the fact that my bedspread looks different in every photo. How odd.
Hope you had a lovely Valentine's Day, or a wonderful Thursday. Or both. :) x

Roshambo: A Free People Short Film

As you guys probably know, Free People is one of my favourite clothing brands. I think they are amazing quality, really unique and just really gorgeous. I've followed the brand for years and in the last couple of years, I have become obsessed with the newest catalog or video that they post. I seriously wish I had the skills to make videos as good as the ones they produce; totally inspiring. So, when I saw that they had created their first short film...well, I was a bit more than excited.

So this is Roshambo. A short film with a lot of heart, emotion, lovely music and a damn great wardrobe. You wouldn't think that a film that is essentially being used as an ad campaign for a clothing company would be so engaging but it really is. I adore it. I've also been told this is the first, but definitely not the last film of this kind from my favourite brand, so I will be waiting with bated breath for the next one! Let me know your thoughts in the comments and also go look at the gorgeous February collection. I'll be here drooling over it. Launch a store in London, already, Free People!

Video | Four Looks to Keep Warm!

Here is the aforementioned video! I filmed this when it was below freezing, which is why my fingers are bright red, you can see my breath and the closeups become less frequent as I get colder and forget xD Regardless, I hope you enjoy! This is more about the ideas than the specific clothes. Just tips on how I stay warm, while still looking somewhat put together. Have a great day, guys! x

Review | Area H2O Hard Water Shampoo & Conditioner for Coloured Hair

My hair has absolutely hated every second of my time in London. Specifically the flat I moved into back in August with its horribly hard water. I have very thin, quite damaged hair (from years of perming when I was younger and now dyeing). As a result, any products that normal people can put in their hair totally weigh mine down and so the mineral deposits in the water here have left it sad and gross feeling. Previously, I tried the Joico K-Pac Chelating Shampoo which, I'll admit, DOES work. For about a day. The day I use it my hair feels nice and maybe I'll get another day but you are not meant to use it more than once every week or two, so ultimately it is sort of pointless.

Enter: Area H2O. I came across this after a lot of furious Google searches and it should be said that most of the reviews were not great. However, I'd tried so many popular options and had just come to the conclusion that my hair was just very different from most peoples' hair. It is a shampoo and conditioner specifically designed for both hard water damage and colour treated hair, so I ordered it with free shipping from lookfantastic and man, FINALLY.

It has a strange lather because it is working in opposition with the icky water, so if it does not later in your hard water, do not panic. Also, I definitely recommend the later, rinse and repeat because honestly, it does make a difference. It's not just a ploy to get you to buy more shampoo, it makes it work to its fullest potential. My hair has gone from being heavy, greasy feeling and blah to being soft, light and vibrant. I have dry-ish hair and this does not really change that, so there's a possibility that this may dry out hair a bit more? I barely notice, though. As long as it feels soft, I'm basically sold.

So yes. If you suffer from the same horrible hair as I have in the past six months, I'd recommend the investment! It was £17 for both. Have a great afternoon, my pretties x
