Haulin' | MAC, Dior & NARS

So this is a haul from a couple of months ago. The MAC products were purchased while on a weekend in San Diego with my parents and the Dior Nail Glow and NARS lipgloss were from the Sephora VIB sale. I'm just trying to clear out some photos I have taken to get back into the swing of blogging, so here we go!
I'm not allowed to wear anything but neutral nail colours at work and most of those sort of clash with my super attractive costume, so after hearing loads of rave reviews, I thought this would be the perfect product for me. I really do love it. It makes the nails look natural, but really healthy and makes bare nails look slightly more glamourous.
One of my favourite bloggers, Mariannan, posted about this lipgloss ages ago, so I always had it in the back of my mind. Then the sale happened and obviously I needed to actually pick it up. I'm not a huge fan of lipglosses and this one is particularly sticky, but the colour is really lovely and natural, so I do use it from time to time still.
MAC eyeshadows in Jest, Woodwinked, Star Violet & Antiqued, $15.
MAC Lipsticks in Syrup & Plumful.
It had been a long time since I perused the MAC counter and all of these eyeshadows, sans Woodwinked which was a repurchase to replace a broken and spilled pan, are ones that I had probably heard of but never really heard much. I now use them pretty much every day. Both of these lipsticks are pretty popular in the YouTube community, though, so I had to pick them up. I love them both a lot and Syrup is pretty much my go-to daily shade now.

And that's about it for now. As I said, I have a huge backlog of blog pictures to post and I have some days off next week that I hope to get that done during, so yay blogging! What have you picked up recently? Have a great day, guys x

Review | MAC 'Let's Skate' & 'Vintage Selection' Paint Pots!

LEFT, Vintage Selection. RIGHT, Let's Skate.
Long have I been an avid lover of creme shadows. I was first introduced to them about four years ago through MAC's paint pots. Since then, I've branched out and tried others, but always love coming back to my beloved Painterly or Bare Study. In a recent collection, MAC put out about ten new (or re-promoted) shades, so I had to pick-up a couple.
I chose these two because I use creme shadows for every day looks and these are perfect base shades for 'looks' I do daily. The Vintage Selection I know is a re-promote that I have never had, but it reminded me of Benefit's RSVP which I believe is now discontinued. I've worn it almost every day since and I just love how it looks with MAC's Omega shadow in the crease (another favourite of mine). When I'm not wearing that one, it's 'Let's Skate.' While VS is a perfect every day all over shade, Let's Skate really brightens up the eyes and is such a pretty, shimmery shade that, on my pale skin, almost just give the lids a glimmer. It's almost like not wearing makeup, but still brightens and makes your eyes shine. They both are quite shimmery, so apologies if that is not your thing. I am a fan of matte, satin, shimmer, whatever, so these are definitely both staples in my collection now!
Sorry for the rushed post, but I'm off to meet some uni friends. Have a fantastic weekend, everyone! x

Haul | Mac CCO Goodies!

When I was in Swindon a couple of weeks ago with some friends (don't ask), we went into the designer outlet mall near the Steam Museum. In there, we found what was essentially a CCO, or Cosmetic Company Outlet. In there, there were loads of discounted brands and old collections. I found three things from MAC and I was so excited! Especially for the Maleficent lipstick, as she is one of my favourite villains and I completely missed out on the Disney Villain MAC collection. There's were all under £10 each, which is very cheap for MAC in the UK!
